Image Ad Specifications and Rates
Load high quality images.
Ad images must be clear and recognizable. Text appearing in the ad images must be legible. We reserve the right to disapprove low quality or blurry ad images.
Load properly-formatted images.
You may only upload .JPEG, .GIF, .SWF, or .PNG images.
Image Ad Content Standards
Load acceptable product content.
We reserve the right to exercise discretion regarding the advertising we accept on our site, as noted in our Terms and Conditions. Therefore, we may not accept images or ads related to certain products or services.
Load family safe content.
Your images may not contain:
  • Any material intended for persons over 18.
  • Mature sexual themes.
  • Crude and indecent language.
  • Foul, Offensive or inappropriate language.
  • Racist or hateful comments.
  • References to illegal activities.

We reserve the right to exercise our editorial discretion concerning this image ads requirement.

Animated Image Ads
Animated .GIF and Flash animation ads are allowed. Animated image ads must follow the same editorial guidelines and specifications as standard image ads, including the 50K size limit. In addition, the following guidelines apply.
Restrict repetition.
Animation is restricted to a maximum of 15 seconds (at a 15-20 fps frame rate).
Space Allocation.
Ad animation must be confined to the allotted ad space. Ads which expand beyond the frame or otherwise encroach on the web site are not allowed.
Flash Ad Specifications

Flash is a plug-in for web browsers that allows animation to be added to web page components. Flash advertising is allowed for all image ads, with some technical restrictions.

Flash ads must follow the same editorial guidelines as all other image ads. Flash ads may not be resized before submission; they must be submitted in full format.

Size Limit.
Flash ads must be 50K or smaller in size.
Actions and Sounds.

Audio and visual effects are allowed, but only when initiated by the user. The default setting for all ads must have sound and visual effects turned off.

Once sounds or visual effects are initiated, users must have the ability to turn them off again.

Versions.
All Flash ads must use Flash versions 4 - 8.
Image Ad Style and Grammar
Any text you include in your images should abide by the following guidelines.
Spell correctly.
Ensure spelling accuracy. Review your ad(s) carefully. We may disapprove image ads containing unconventional spelling.
Image Ad Links and Functionality
Make sure your Display URL is accurate.
  • Your display URL must accurately reflect the URL of your website. If your actual destination URL exceeds 25 characters, use a shortened version (such as your homepage) that meets the character limit.
  • Your display URL must include the domain extension, for example: .com, .net, or .org.
Make sure your destination URL works.
  • Your destination URL must work properly. Check your spelling and symbols to make sure you entered the correct URL for the page you want users to visit.
  • Your destination URL must link to a working website. You cannot link to an email address or a file (for example, an image, audio, video, or document file that requires an additional program or application to open or run). Linking to a video file may be allowed with discretion.
  • The landing page for your ad cannot be under construction. We require your destination URL to link to an actual web page with content relevant to your ad. When your site is under construction or down for maintenance, you must pause your Ad Group(s).
Do not link to pop-ups.
We do not allow links to landing pages that generate pop-ups when users enter or leave your landing page. We consider a pop-up to be any window, regardless of content, that opens in addition to the original window.

    Note: All .gif and Flash animation formatted ads must be submitted in the full standard format sizes. File size must be 50K or smaller.
    Video Ad Specifications and Rates

    Your video ad will require a static image that will appear in the player window or in a designated web page containing thumbnail of images when the webpage loads. If a user clicks the window, play button, image or selects the content in the drop-down menu, the video ad will initiate. The video ads will run in the following placements in front or inside page:

  • Small Rectangle
    • 160 x 120 pixels

  • Rectangle
    • 320 x 240 pixels
      Price: $310 (in US Dollars)
    Content Restrictions
    The opening image, audio, and video portions of your ad must not contain any adult content. They may not contain:
    • Any material intended for persons over 18.
    • Mature sexual themes.
    • Crude and indecent language.
    • Foul, Offensive or inappropriate language.
    • Racist or hateful comments.
    • References to illegal activities.

    Your video ad will display as a static image prior to user interaction. We will include your URL at the bottom of the ad when required. There are certain requirements for the opening image:

    • Must be 50K or smaller.
    • Must be in .JPEG, .PNG, or .GIF format.
    • Must meet the standard size requirements: 160x120 (Small Rectangle), 200x200 (Square) and 320x240 (Rectangle).
    • Animation is not permitted in the static opening image.
    Note that no animation is permitted for the static image of your video ad.
    Audio Requirements
    The audio portion of your video ad will be played upon user interaction with the ad. The audio must be encoded at volume less than or equal to -12 db.
    Video Requirements

    The video portion of your video ad will be played when a user interacts with the video. The video will not automatically replay; the user must click the play button or the static image itself to initiate a replay. Since videos are user-initiated, there are no frequency caps.

    Video ads must have a maximum duration of 2 minutes.

    The format of your video must be:
    AVI, ASF, Quicktime, Windows Media, or MPEG
    Frame size must be 320 x 240
    Minimum 14 frames-per-second (prefer 30 fps)
    Data rate at least 275kbps
    4:3 aspect ratio (recommended; other aspects will be accepted but letterboxed)

    Ad Duration and Taxes Information

    Advertisements are good for a period of six (6) straight months effective immediately after the ad inclusion. All cost quoted above are inclusive of taxes imposed by the Philippine Bureau of Internal Revenue.
